Debuting in September 2024, Le Seul burst into the footwear world with an enticing promise—meticulously engineered shoes that ensure superior comfort and make no compromises when it comes to style. The founder, Danyelle Freeman, launched the brand following a traumatic foot injury—her husband accidentally ran over her foot with a car, forcing Freeman into a dull world of orthopedics. Determined to once again wear luxurious shoes she adored but finding no options on the market, Freeman decided to make them herself. Enlisting renowned shoe designer Paul Andrew as her mentor and an experienced physiotherapist and former Nike Performance Board member, Dr. David Hancock as an advisor, she has created an unmatched collection with bespoke cushioned soles.. Le Seul, which translates to “The Only One” in French truly lives up to its name, offering stylish, sophisticated designs grounded in superior comfort and support.

Playful Whimsy

Refined, yet playful, classic but contemporary, Le Seul collections feel fresh and timeless. Alluring color palettes, feminine silhouettes and thoughtful details add whimsy without compromising sophistication. The brand offers shoes for every occasion—from everyday flats, sandals and wedges to luxurious nighttime heels and knee high boots.

Made in Italy

Exceptional quality, precision and attention to detail are in Le Seul’s DNA. Collections are handcrafted in Parabiago, Italy, a city known for shoemaking traditions that have been passed down for generations. All materials are sourced from local tanneries that use chrome-free tanning techniques and prioritize mindful production. Elevated artisanal elements like flowers, elegant bows and braided straps that adorn the shoes are hand made by master artisans.

Heart and Sole

The merge of traditional techniques with advanced, first-of-its-kind technology has led to the creation of a supportive and cushioned orthotic fashioned into a slim footbed that floats your heel as you walk. Each shoe features an insole adorned with quilted heart cushioning and several styles are finished with the brand’s signature, heart-shaped heels. Le Seul shoes are supremely comfortable, rendering carrying a pair of “commute flats” in your bag obsolete.

“After a traumatic foot injury, I spent nearly five years in orthopedic shoes watching my fashionable footwear collect dust in my closet. I decided to launch my own footwear line, determined to create high fashion, high function footwear that is impeccably designed, comfortable and supportive without compromising an ounce of luxury.”
